Satellite Voting Site Announced for November 4, 2025 City/School Election

Waterloo, Iowa — The Black Hawk County Auditor’s Office has announced that a satellite absentee voting station will be available for the upcoming November 4, 2025 City/School Election.

This satellite location was established by petition from eligible Black Hawk County voters, as allowed under Iowa law.

The satellite voting site will be open as follows:

📍 Impact Church of Hope, 710 Broadway Street, Waterloo, IA 50703
🗓 Saturday, October 18
🕘 9:00 a.m. – 3:00 p.m.

All registered voters in Black Hawk County may vote early at this location. Ballots for all precincts will be available.

Voters are reminded that they must present an approved form of photo identification before receiving a ballot. Voter registration forms will be available on-site for those who need to register or update their voter information. Voters registering on-site should bring a driver’s license, non-operator ID number, or the last four digits of their Social Security number.

Satellite voting provides a convenient opportunity to cast an absentee ballot in person before Election Day. Voters will complete both a ballot application and an affidavit envelope. Once the ballot is filled out, it must be sealed, signed, and placed in the official ballot box. All ballots cast at the satellite location will be counted with other absentee ballots according to Iowa law on November 3 and 4.

This satellite voting opportunity is provided pursuant to Section 53.11 of the Code of Iowa.
