Upon submission of the sign-up below, you will receive an absentee ballot request form by mail. You must complete and return the request form by the deadline below in order for a ballot to be mailed. Alternatively, you may print an absentee ballot request form yourself and return it by the deadline below.
Completed request forms for absentee ballots must be received by the Black Hawk County Election Office by 5:00 p.m. on Monday, May 20.
Ballots will begin to be mailed on May 15 to those who have submitted a completed request form.
If you miss the request deadline, in-person voting will be available at the Election Office from 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., Monday through Friday, starting May 15 until June 3. Additionally, extended hours for in-person voting will be offered on specific days:
On election day (June 4), voters must vote at their polling location.
