Residents may have recently received letters from the Center for Voter Information regarding voter registration. The Black Hawk County Elections Office would like to clarify that these mailings are not from our office.
While efforts to encourage voter participation are appreciated, these letters can sometimes be confusing, particularly for individuals who are already registered, as the information may be outdated.
Residents can verify their voter registration status online through the Iowa Secretary of State’s website.
If you are already registered, no action is required unless you need to update your information.
