Requests for absentee ballots must be received by the Black Hawk County Election Office by 5:00 p.m. on Monday, January 13.
If you missed the request deadline, in-person voting is offered daily during office the hours from 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Monday through Friday, through Monday, January 27. Absentee Voting In-Person will take place at the Black Hawk County Courthouse in the Election Office (Room 213). Please note, the Election Office will be closed on Monday, January 20, in observance of Martin Luther King Jr. Day.
On Election Day (January 28), Vote Center locations will be open from 7:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. Voters can vote at any one of the locations open regardless of their precinct. View locations. View map.
