Requests for absentee ballots must be received by the Black Hawk County Election Office by 5:00 p.m. on Monday, February 9, 2026.
If you missed the request deadline, in-person voting is offered daily during office hours from 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Monday through Friday, through Monday, February 23. Absentee Voting In-Person will take place at the Black Hawk County Courthouse on 2nd floor in the Auditor's Office.
On election day (February 24, 2026), two vote center locations will be open from 7:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. Voters may vote at either location regardless of their precinct.
